About Our Speaker:

Fr. C. Kevin Gillespie, SJ, is the Pastor of Holy Trinity Church in Washington, DC. He previously served as president of St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and has also has held administrative, teaching and campus ministry roles at Loyola University Chicago, Loyola University Maryland and Boston College respectively. Fr. Gillespie is not new to the Washington, DC, area. He taught religious studies and coached baseball at both Georgetown Prep and Gonzaga High Schools. Fr. Gillespie graduated from St. Joseph’s College in 1972 and went on to earn masters’ degrees in psychology from Duquesne University and in divinity from the Jesuit School of Theology Berkeley. He also holds a Ph.D. in Pastoral Psychology from Boston University.
